Analytics overview
Analytics shows how your practice is doing: how many members are active, how their MSQ scores are changing and where they need a nudge. This article covers the three tabs, the time ranges and the numbers on the Overview tab.
Who can do this: Practice owners, staff and coaches · Available on: All plans
Open Analytics
- In the menu, click Analytics.
- Choose a tab: Overview, Patient Outcomes or Engagement.
- Choose a time range at the top right: 30D, 3M, 6M, 12M or YTD. The page opens on 6M.
The time range stays the same when you switch tabs.

The three tabs
- Overview: a one-page summary of your members, their MSQ trend and the day-to-day follow-ups.
- Patient Outcomes: MSQ and PROMIS-29 results across your members. See Outcomes: MSQ and PROMIS scores.
- Engagement: activity, pace, plan completion and messaging. See Engagement.
Key Metrics
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Active Members | Members with an active plan right now, including members who are registered but haven't started their plan yet. |
| Graduating Soon | Active plans that are at least 80% complete ("≥80% complete, still active"). A member on two such plans counts twice. |
| Active Last 14 Days | The share of members with an active plan who had plan activity in the last 14 days, such as opening or completing lessons, with the count underneath (for example "12 / 20 members"). Signing in or messaging alone doesn't count. |
The small percentage under Active Members and Graduating Soon compares with the previous period, for example "vs previous 6 months". On YTD it reads "vs last year".
The rest of the Overview tab
- Member Growth: a line of active members for each of the last 12 months. Underneath, bars show how many members were Newly enrolled, Graduated, Dropped plan (still a member) or Archived (churn) each month. This chart always covers 12 months, whatever time range you choose.
- "N active members have no plan": a link under the chart when some members have no active or paused plan. It opens Members filtered to Needs Plan.
- Practice avg MSQ: the average of each member's latest MSQ score, with the change from their first. It only includes members with at least two MSQs (the caption shows how many). Lower MSQ scores mean fewer symptoms, so a downward change is good.
- Members Improving: of those members, how many Improved (MSQ down 10 points or more), Maintained or Declined (MSQ up 10 points or more).
- Practice Pulse: Average message response time in the selected range, Unread member messages right now, and Members behind pace right now.
Good to know
- The time range changes some numbers and not others. Active Members, Graduating Soon, Active Last 14 Days, Unread member messages and Members behind pace always show today's figures. Member Growth always shows 12 months.
- On Practice avg MSQ and Members Improving, the time range picks which members are included: those whose latest MSQ was completed in that range.
- MSQ and PROMIS-29 scores are for your practice only. Members don't see them.
- If your practice doesn't use Vibility messaging, the two message rows in Practice Pulse don't appear.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Some analytics couldn't be loaded — the figures below may be incomplete." | One or more sections didn't load. | Click Retry. If it keeps happening, contact Vibility support. |
| Practice avg MSQ shows "No MSQ data" | No member has two completed MSQs with the latest in your time range. | Try 12M. See Outcomes: MSQ and PROMIS scores. |
| "Not enough data" on Member Growth | Either no members have enrolled yet ("Member growth data will appear once members enroll."), or the chart's data didn't load. | If no one has enrolled, the chart fills in once members do. Otherwise click Retry on the banner, or reload the page. |
| A dash (—) instead of a number | That figure isn't available yet. | Click Retry if the error banner shows, or check again later. |
